Destination

Kilimanjaro

Africa’s roof — 5,895 m and the world’s highest free-standing mountain. Four classic routes: Marangu (the most accessible), Machame (the most scenic), Lemosho (highest success rate at 8 days), and Rongai (driest, north side). Demanding but technically straightforward — proper acclimatization and fitness matter more than experience. Five climate zones in a week, summit night under stars from Barafu Camp, Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Best windows: January–March (cooler, clear) and June–October (dry, busier).
